Job Summary

Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide clerical support for our food service programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Answering Inquiries: Respond to phone calls and direct inquiries in a professional and client-centric manner.
  • Maintaining Confidentiality: Maintain confidential personnel files and assist management staff in preparing confidential employment and labor relations documents.
  • Staffing Support: Assist with staffing, including finding staff when employees call out on short notice.
  • Record Keeping: Complete and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students eligible for free and reduced-priced lunches, if applicable.
  • Financial Management: Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using a computer, perform daily bank deposit reconciliation, process vendor invoices for payment, and prepare monthly state claim forms for reimbursement.
  • Communication: Work effectively with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, students' parents, and supervisors to maintain good working relationships.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned, including attending in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
