Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Global Partners. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing and supervising all activities in the deli and food service department, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our sales and merchandising goals are met.

• Direct and supervise department personnel to achieve sales and merchandising goals.
• Select, onboard, and coach new team members.
• Schedule team members to ensure adequate coverage.
• Provide product information, make selling suggestions, and actively sample products.
• Take guest orders and ensure orders are completed to their satisfaction.
• Ensure department personnel follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Order products and supplies to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Oversee the preparation and serving of deli and food service items.
• Display deli and food service items according to merchandising guidelines.
• Follow product recipes and rotate deli and food service items for sale.
• Receive merchandise and supplies, audit invoices, and position cases in storage areas.
• Count product for inventory purposes and complete paperwork accurately.
• Process cash register transactions and use scale printer machines.
• Monitor product pricing, signage, and placement.
• Keep sales counters, food prep areas, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Ensure department personnel use proper safety equipment and procedures.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Flexibility to work weekend, holiday, and evening shifts.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• Reliable transportation and an active driver's license.
• Serv-safe certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Work in walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Stand for long periods, bend, twist, and frequently lift and/or maneuver merchandise and supplies.
• Be dexterous enough to use necessary equipment, including knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers, and rotisseries.
