Overview:
The Mechanical Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting the project manager and site superintendent within the industrial mechanical maintenance sector, specifically focusing on manufacturing and power generation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and revise the current Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule on-site as directed by the Project Manager.
- Ensure organized documentation of all field-related purchases.
- Coordinate the work schedules of subcontractors under the guidance of the Project Superintendent.
- Schedule necessary equipment and materials as per the Project Superintendent's instructions.
- Guarantee the timely submission of all required submittals and shop drawings.

- Provide accurate and prompt reports and forms as mandated by corporate and regional offices, tailored to the specific project requirements.
- Continuously update and maintain the master drawing set.

- Assess construction documents and drawings to anticipate potential field issues; identify discrepancies between the construction documents and actual field conditions; relay interpreted information to the Architect, Project Superintendent, and Project Manager.

- Review submittals and shop drawings to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
- Draft Requests for Information (RFIs) as instructed by the Project Superintendent.
- Engage in all on-site meetings, including pre-trade, subcontractor, and Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings.

Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in construction, ideally within a mechanical contracting environment.
- Strong understanding of layout drawings and the ability to interpret Process & Flow Diagrams (P&IDs) and Piping Isometric Drawings.
- Familiarity with fundamental business processes and procedures.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead a diverse team.

- Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technologies, relevant codes, and standards, along with a comprehensive understanding of the interrelations among various functional units is essential.
- A Bachelor's degree is advantageous.

Compensation:
- Salary range: $70,000 - $100,000 annually.
