Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

At Aveanna, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The LPN will be responsible for delivering and coordinating quality patient care in compliance with physician orders. This includes continuously observing and assessing patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate, and documenting all activities, assessments, and nursing actions in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders
  • Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs
  • Document all activities, assessments, and nursing actions in a timely manner
  • Participate in and implement the nursing care plan
  • Accept responsibility for personal and professional accountability by complying with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
  • Continuing Education as required by state
  • Prefer 1 year of Long Term Care Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six (6) months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Home health experience
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
  • Must be able to climb stairs and be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to travel
