Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

This role is perfect for someone who wants to work on complex projects and drive innovation. As a Supplier Development Engineer Machining, you'll be responsible for analyzing supplier quality and delivery metrics, collaborating with procurement teams, and implementing production part approval processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze supplier performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to source high-quality parts from suppliers
  • Implement and monitor production part approval processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to improve their quality and delivery performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field from an ABET-accredited university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS) such as AS9100 and ISO 9001
  • Familiarity with SQA processes like PPAP and APQP
  • Knowledge of lean concepts and principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
