Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Computer Hardware Specialist to join our team at the Mehlville R-9 School District. This is a full-time, 12-month position that requires strong technical expertise and excellent customer service skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing computer hardware and software systems throughout the district. This includes desktop and laptop computers, Chromebooks, category 6 wiring, peripherals, and audio visual equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field. An Associate's degree from an accredited college/university or technical school with an emphasis in computer hardware and network design is preferred.

A+ Certification and Net+ Certification are also desirable. The ability to work effectively with multiple electronic systems, including communication systems, wireless technologies, and audio/visual technologies, is essential.

This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively interact with technology staff, administrators, and students.

**Estimated Salary:** $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
