Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at UPMC Presbyterian as an Expert Registered Nurse in the Trauma Neurosurgery Unit. This is a full-time opportunity that requires four years of experience, with BSN preferred. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to lead others in application of the nursing process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of growth and development over the life span and be able to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.

The salary for this role is approximately $93,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

**Responsibilities:**
* Provide expert care to patients in the Trauma Neurosurgery Unit
* Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
* Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
* Serve as a resource and mentor to colleagues on the unit
