Job Title: Staff Accountant

ClareMedica Health Partners LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a vital role in the execution of our accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries and accruals, ensuring accurate recording of transactions.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including prepaid expenses, accrued liabilities, and other accounts as needed.
  • Review and maintain fixed asset ledgers and subledgers.
  • Assist with external audit preparation, as needed.
  • Maintain financial records by accurate and timely filing of accounting documents.
  • Provide support to the AP department regarding accounting procedures.
  • Participate and assist with special projects that support the goal of continuous improvement in processes and growth within the company.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 2-4 years' experience in an accountant role required.
  • 1-2 years' experience in healthcare strongly preferred.
  • Attention to details and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Team player, flexible, collaborative, optimistic, cooperative.
  • Experience with Great Plains preferred.
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Project and time management skills with demonstrated ability to reliably meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
