Pain Medicine Physician Job Description

Join our team of healthcare professionals at Motion MSK as a Pain Medicine Physician. In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working together to deliver exceptional care to patients with musculoskeletal issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage patients enrolled in Motion's Pain Management Program, ensuring safe and effective use of opiates and other controlled substances.
  • Collaborate with clinical providers, physical therapists, and behavioral health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Partner with Motion's Chief Medical Officer to develop structured care pathways and protocols for conservative MSK care.
  • Work closely with Motion's Head of Product to create a seamless and effective patient experience.
  • Provide approximately 8-16 hours/week of clinical services under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer.
Requirements:
  • Relevant education, licensure, and time in practice.
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
  • At least 2 years of experience prescribing opioids for chronic, non-malignant pain.
  • Philosophical alignment with Motion's model of evidence-based musculoskeletal care.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative care team environment.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to refine our care model.
