Position Overview
As a Field Auto Adjuster, you will be integral to our auto claims management process, generating estimates directly at customer residences, repair facilities, or towing locations. Your role will encompass various interactions with customers and shops, including in-person, virtual, and written communications, as you evaluate and finalize estimates. With a diverse array of workstreams, such as repairable estimates, total loss evaluations, and virtual inspections, you will experience a dynamic and stimulating work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Advocate - You will embody Allstate's Claims Culture by being compassionate, empowering, and restorative, ensuring that you approach each casualty claim with empathy and clarity.

Claims Investigator - You will independently and confidently investigate casualty claims by conducting thorough damage assessments and interpreting policies to determine coverage.

Effective Communicator - You will utilize phone, email, and occasionally video chat to guide customers through a seamless claims process. You will tailor your communication approach to meet customer preferences, ensuring they are informed about their claim status.

Negotiation Specialist - You will assess and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants, adhering to legal and business standards. Your negotiation skills will be essential in managing complex situations.

Problem Solver - You will leverage various tools to efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced environment, utilizing estimate tools, job aids, and settlement platforms while applying your critical thinking abilities.

Documentation Expert - You will safeguard the company’s interests by adhering to policy agreements and maintaining accurate records of your work in a claims system. Timely and precise documentation is crucial as you manage each claim.

This position requires prior experience. Candidates must have a minimum of 24 months of experience in auto collision estimating using platforms such as CCC One or Mitchell.

Qualifications

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise and comprehensive estimates.
  • Comfortable using technology and various platforms for claims processing.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Valid driver's license and readiness to travel as needed.

Compensation
The compensation for this role is $52,790.00 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates selected for this position will undergo a background investigation, including a drug screening.
