Position Title: SIC Electrical Helper

Job Overview: We are seeking motivated Electrical Helpers to support our operations in various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine the necessary tools for each task.
  • Recognize safety hazards and implement measures to mitigate them.
  • Assist in the cutting, bending, and installation of conduit as outlined in technical drawings.
  • Support the installation and modification of cable trays according to specifications.
  • Help in the routing of cables through designated pathways.
  • Contribute to the assembly and installation of electrical apparatus.
  • Assist in the termination of wires and cables to various electrical devices, including breakers and control panels.
  • Participate in testing electrical components for continuity and voltage accuracy.
  • Support the inspection of electrical systems to identify potential hazards and ensure operational integrity.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining temporary power systems.
  • Help with the installation and upkeep of grounding systems for all equipment.
  • Support the lifting and positioning of tools and equipment using rigging techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Completion of all required safety and job training.
  • Adherence to safety and quality protocols at all times.

Physical and Job Site Requirements:

  • Ability to use personal protective equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.
  • Work environment may include offices, warehouses, and outdoor settings with exposure to various elements.
  • Must be able to access all areas of the job site, including elevated and confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina is required to perform essential job functions safely.
  • Capability to operate necessary tools and equipment safely.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in various physical positions.
