Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Therapist to join our Family Preservation Services Program at TFI Family Services, Inc. As a Therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting children and families by providing trauma-informed practices and guiding them toward safe and stable environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Individual and Family Therapy: Offer individual and family therapy sessions in home, school, and community settings to support children and families.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Create treatment plans based on evidence-based assessments to ensure effective support for families.
  • Collaborate with Community Partners: Work closely with public and private agencies, as well as community partners, to provide comprehensive support for families.
  • Support Families in Crisis: Provide 24-hour on-call support and interventions to families in crisis, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Ensure Timely Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation for client case records and reports.
  • Coordinate Long-Term Service Needs: Collaborate with Behavioral Health and other staff to coordinate long-term service needs for clients.
  • Utilize Technology: Effectively use technology to maintain electronic client files and data.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree: Possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • BSRB Licensure: Hold BSRB licensure (LMSW, LMLP, LMFT, LCP, LPC); clinical licensure is preferred.
  • Experience: Have at least 2 years of experience working with children and families in behavioral/emotional support.
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and meet agency driving standards.
  • Client-Focused Interventions: Demonstrate the ability to develop client-focused interventions and manage multiple cases.
