Role Overview:

The Retail Operations Supervisor at Lumber Liquidators is responsible for overseeing the daily and strategic operations of a retail flooring outlet. This position involves leading, mentoring, and developing a team of sales associates to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving sales performance and achieving financial targets for the store.
  • Implementing company initiatives and ensuring compliance with operational standards.
  • Managing inventory control and quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborating with upper management to achieve positive business outcomes.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and assisting clients in selecting flooring solutions.
  • Coaching and developing a high-performing sales team.
  • Conducting proactive outreach to customers and professionals in the industry.
Qualifications for Success:
  • A strong commitment to customer service and a desire for professional growth.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in customer-facing roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • A proven history of successful team building and talent development.
  • A High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • An interest in home improvement and flooring design.
  • Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
  • The ability to lift heavy items as needed.
  • A willingness to learn and operate equipment such as forklifts (training provided).
