Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the design and execution of architectural strategies to facilitate Enpro's AWS cloud modernization.

  • Pinpoint opportunities to separate cloud-based services to bolster resilience, availability, and performance.
  • Create and implement serverless architectures using cloud-native technologies such as APIs and Lambda.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in planning, designing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform.
  • Experience in coding and scripting with modern programming languages.
  • Familiarity with core AWS services, their applications, and AWS architectural best practices.
  • Hands-on experience across various domains, including database architecture, business intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix systems administration.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams comprising both IT and business personnel.
  • Ability to swiftly diagnose and resolve issues in distributed systems.
  • Capability to work under tight deadlines and extended hours when necessary.
  • A proactive approach to learning, staying updated with emerging technologies and trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant industry certifications (AWS, Microsoft, Hashicorp, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Experience managing multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with compliance requirements such as PCI, GDPR, and DFARS.
