Job Overview: Aerotek is seeking an experienced Aircraft Systems Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing aircraft electrical and avionics systems.

About the Role:

  • Install and maintain aircraft electrical and avionics systems, including radar, lighting, radio, entertainment, and navigational systems.
  • Repair or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies using hand tools and soldering irons.
  • Assemble components such as switches, electrical controls, and junction boxes.
  • Connect components to assemblies such as radio systems, instruments, magnetos, inverters, and in-flight refueling systems.
  • Interpret flight test data to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance issues.
  • Lay out installation of aircraft assemblies and systems following documentation such as blueprints, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of regular maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in avionics installation.
  • Experience with corporate aircraft preferred.
  • Knowledge of Garmin 1000/5000 and Pro Line 21 systems.
  • Candidate must have own tools that are etched and shadowed.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • $30.00-$32.00 per hour.
