Job Title: Production Operator

We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at Pompeian, Inc. in Baltimore, MD.

Job Summary:

The Production Operator will be responsible for operating production equipment on the production lines, following safety rules and quality procedures. This includes handling and monitoring manufacturing machines and equipment to ensure smooth operation, assembling, processing, and packaging products on a production line, and performing quality checks and minor repairs as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate assigned equipment such as packer or labeler
  • Assist in troubleshooting of machines when they are not running properly
  • Focus on minimizing waste of raw material, boxes, bottles, and finished product
  • Perform housekeeping within your area
  • Ensure all work meets company environmental goals
  • Perform duties per Pompeian's mission, goals, and core values
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to troubleshoot machinery
  • Ability to follow written procedure
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Operators are required to have viable transportation
  • Able to lift between 25-50 lbs on occasion
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, bending and stretching
