Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Child and Family Mental Health Clinician to join our team at the Children's Home Society of WA. As a clinician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical services to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Services: Provide ongoing clinical and case management services to children and their families, including assessments, treatment plans, and referrals as needed.
  • Treatment Interventions: Implement treatment interventions using various therapeutic and educational approaches to promote positive social emotional development and inclusion of all children.
  • Collaboration: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with community resources and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Evaluation and Review: Participate in interdisciplinary team reviews to evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Master's degree in Social Work or related field required, plus experience in clinical practice with children, youth, and families.
  • Credentials: Required Agency Affiliated Counselor Credential obtained after hire.
  • Specialized Training: May require additional training on specialized clinical areas, such as infant and toddler mental health, sexual and physical abuse, domestic violence, co-occurring disorders, and chemical dependency.

About the Position:

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $27.94 - $39.66 per hour. The starting salary range for external candidates is $27.94 - $30.87 per hour depending on experience. Our benefits package includes 10 days of vacation leave per year, three Employee Appreciation Days, and accrual of sick leave. We also offer Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and mental health benefits.
