  • Assist in the retrieval of patient meal trays, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. (15%)
  • Manage inventory levels of floor stock, ensuring compliance with established par levels and accurately documenting usage.
  • Adhere to proper food handling protocols, ensuring safety and sanitation in all food service activities. (10%)
  • Prepare meals according to standardized recipes to guarantee consistency, nutritional value, and taste while adhering to budgetary constraints. (10%)
  • Follow CDC guidelines for hand hygiene to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and baked goods, contributing to a diverse menu for patients.
  • Efficiently store leftovers for future use, ensuring they are utilized within appropriate timeframes. (5%)
  • Package and label food items in accordance with established guidelines, ensuring proper storage and safety.
  • Be adaptable and cross-trained in various roles, including tray line operations, storeroom management, and food preparation.
  • Support the dishwashing and equipment sanitization processes to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the safe storage of food and equipment. (10%)
  • Participate in daily and special cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene standards.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
6+ months of experience in food service is preferred but not mandatory.

Conditions of Employment:
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for individuals working in clinical settings.
