Job SummaryAs a Culinary Technician at Giant Eagle, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality food products for our customers. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the Fresh Foods Manufacturing Commissary.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare food products according to standardized recipes and methods.
- Inspect food ingredients and equipment to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.
- Coordinate and perform equipment and plant sanitation as needed.
- Maintain accurate production records, HACCP, and QA documentation.
- Control quality and production costs through strict adherence to recipes and production procedures.
- 1-3 years of experience in cooking, catering, or large volume batch cooking.
- Associates Degree in Culinary Arts.
- Food Safety certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- At least 18 years of age.
