Job Summary

As a Culinary Technician at Giant Eagle, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality food products for our customers. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the Fresh Foods Manufacturing Commissary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare food products according to standardized recipes and methods.
  • Inspect food ingredients and equipment to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations.
  • Coordinate and perform equipment and plant sanitation as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production records, HACCP, and QA documentation.
  • Control quality and production costs through strict adherence to recipes and production procedures.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in cooking, catering, or large volume batch cooking.
  • Associates Degree in Culinary Arts.
  • Food Safety certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • At least 18 years of age.
