Job Summary:

Westlake Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our Sales and Marketing team. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence and drive sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in creative projects, including brand development, product packaging, photo and video shoots, copywriting, and content creation.
  • Contribute to retail packaging projects from creative concept to final print proof; maintain packaging database and communicate with vendors.
  • Coordinate and oversee community involvement and PR efforts to reflect Westlake Services as a caring, involved corporate citizen.
  • Coordinate branded stationery, literature, apparel, etc. for company-wide use.
  • Be the voice of Westlake Services and retail brands; create and manage social media profiles according to brand identity, respond to online reviews and questions.
  • Coordinate tradeshow and retailer sample packaging.
  • Maintain product information and assets in a central database to assist in item creation and maintenance, assuring accurate information and brand positioning.
  • Conduct market research to aide in product and market development efforts, and contribute to the creation of compelling, optimized content and graphics.
  • Work with partners to maintain the corporate website, proofreading, copywriting, and making updates as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales or marketing environment (which can include college internships).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, preferably with copy-writing experience.
  • Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience working with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite).
