Nursing Home Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Home Administrator to lead our team and ensure the highest quality of care for our residents. The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration and be able to manage the day-to-day operations of the facility.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement goals for quality care, employee retention, and financial performance.
- Direct the hiring and training of personnel to ensure all employees receive orientation and ongoing training.
- Prepare annual budgets for approval by Regional Management.
- Direct and guide the activities of clinical, administrative, and service departments.
- Implement control systems to ensure accountability of all departments.
- Represent the facility at community meetings and promote programs through various news media.
- Monitor performance for achievement of goals and for improvement, and take corrective action when necessary.
- Responsible for census development/marketing.
- Serve as the facility's Equal Employment Opportunity Coordinator.
- Act as chairperson of the facility's Performance Improvement Committee.
- BS in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, or a clinical specialty.
- Licensed by the state or eligible for reciprocity.
- Two years' experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in a long-term care facility or completion of an AIT program.
