Exciting Opportunity for a Commercial HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Gpac, a leading recruitment company in the Mechanical industry. As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installation of commercial HVAC and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to heavy workload of service calls in a professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, explaining the cause of their problem and the remedy.
  • Follow and utilize troubleshooting guides to identify problems in a short period of time.
  • Check system operations and safety and limit controls before leaving job locations.
  • Ensure customers' questions/concerns have been addressed before leaving the work site.
  • Use proper tools and instruments while troubleshooting.
  • Communicate tactfully to offer suggestions if system problems are caused by the customer.
  • Demonstrate ability to determine priorities based on a call schedule, responding to inadvertent interruptions, carrying proper tools and materials, and scheduling vehicle maintenance.
  • Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork.
  • Keep supervisor and manager informed of new developments, changes, or customer complaints.
  • Complete service reports daily; obtain customer signature on all service reports.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years Commercial service experience.
  • EPA Certification.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player and good attitude.
