HVAC Service Technician

At One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, we're committed to providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to our clients. As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll play a critical role in educating customers about technical and investment decisions, providing multiple options and solutions while making service calls in their homes.

Responsibilities:

* Serve One Hour clients by expertly servicing and repairing HVAC systems and components.
* Focus on technical excellence to meet the company's unique proposition of Always on Time...Or You Don't Pay a Dime.
* Utilize the Straight Forward Pricing Guide system, including the True Cost Calculator on each call.
* Assess systems to determine repair or replacement recommendations to clients, explaining each service and repair performed and ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.
* Test each system after each service or repair is completed to ensure it's working properly and fixed right the first time.
* Perform a proper inspection of the customer's system to prevent future breakdowns.
* Accurately complete all paperwork and ensure recommendations are written on invoices.
* Explain Club Membership Agreements to every customer and maintain a conversion rate of at least 25% on non-Club Members and a 90% renewal rate on existing Club Members.
* Provide customer leads to the Sales Lead Coordinator when identifying a potential need for system additions or replacements.
* Obey the One Hour Code of Ethics, Team Rules, and Team Philosophy.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or GED required.
* Two or more years of verifiable HVAC service experience.
* EPA Type 1 and 2 required.
* NATE certification preferred.
* Strong communication skills and technical competence.
* Must sign the Company Code of Ethics and agree to being videotaped for training and compliance purposes at least six (6) times per year.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
* Pass a background check and drug screen.
