Job Overview

We are a busy, event-driven restaurant in Columbia seeking a highly skilled Event Sales and Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our event revenue stream.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of increasing revenue, taking great care of guests, and supervising event staff and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with potential and existing clients to design events that meet their needs and exceed their expectations
  • Actively solicit new clients and follow up on leads to drive sales growth
  • Supervise, manage, hire, and train event staff to ensure seamless event operations
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Culinary team to design event dining packages and menus
  • Manage events on-site, ensuring smooth event operations and 100% guest satisfaction
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in event sales and staff management
  • Proven track record of client satisfaction and event sales growth year-over-year
  • Demonstrated ability to be agile and gracious in unexpected situations
Compensation
  • This is a base salary + commission position, with variable compensation throughout the year
