Job Summary:

We are seeking an IT Technical Business Analyst to join our team at PMXperts Inc. The successful candidate will provide value-added services by streamlining business processes, focusing on producing quality and timely IT products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support projects and modify strategic documents
  • Learn to write business-specific documents with a technical perspective
  • Work under supervision to meet firm deadlines and key milestones
  • Learn SRNS and relevant section/department systems and requirements for accomplishing tasks
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Utilize organizational skills
  • Develop technical documentation for specified assignments
  • Participate in the performance and support of day-to-day activities for assigned work/teams
  • Under direction, develop mind maps or use other tools to create schedules for work and obtain management concurrence
  • Provide regular status updates and ad hoc reporting as needed
  • Collect data and perform business and technical support analysis
  • Select appropriate tools and demonstrate creative abilities in developing outline, format, and graphics
  • Draft and incorporate editorial changes into final product for variety of IT products and publications
  • Collect, organize, and present data and perform data analysis to meet target audience needs
  • Identify and design changes to existing reports and create reports as needed
  • Summarize report findings for management and select appropriate presentation of data for IT reports
  • Provide program support by answering inquiries from outside groups, maintaining necessary software and generating needed reports
  • Provide feedback to management on ongoing efforts
  • Demonstrate awareness of total quality through development and submittal of improvement suggestions
  • Provide feedback on Site- and Department-level procedures
  • Participate in quality-related activities as assigned
  • Apply IT knowledge toward the improvement of software and quality of other deliverables
  • Working under supervision, monitor and achieve individual and team goals
  • Collaboratively use good verbal and written communications and technical understanding skills to develop broad range of communications and other work products
  • Resolve routine problems and communications where response is based on existing procedures
  • Has a working knowledge of group priorities and ensures that work progresses on schedule
  • Learning to assume responsibilities of primary administrative support for program
  • Collaborates with work group to meet needs expressed inside and outside work group
  • Takes initiative to act when opportunities for improvement are identified
  • Looks for ways to improve own work methods or performance
  • Takes ownership of assigned administrative tasks, providing regular reporting as required
  • Develops job aids and supporting documentation and demonstrates administrative tasks to others
  • Assists group members in troubleshooting issues
  • Makes specific changes in work methods or systems to improve performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline with 2 years of practical experience OR
  • Non-IT-related Bachelor's degree with 4 years practical experience OR
  • Associate's degree in IT-related discipline with 4 years practical experience OR
  • Non-related Associate's degree with 6 years practical experience OR
  • In lieu of degree, a high school diploma with 8 years of practical experience
  • Prior experience with PeopleSoft and Supply Chain Management

Preferred:

  • Four years of relevant experience in acquisition support, project management, with a focus on Information Technology purchases is preferred

Security Clearance: A security clearance is not required, but the candidate must be able to obtain an uncleared Personal Identity Verification (PIV) badge.
