Music Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Music Therapist to join our team at Beaumont Behavioral Health, a new 144-bed behavioral health facility. As a Music Therapist, you will be responsible for providing Music Therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic activity interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Provide Music Therapy sessions to patients, including group and individual interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans
- Provide education to patients and families on healthy coping skills and available resources
- Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy with Certification in Music Therapy required
- One year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness preferred
- Music Therapist-Board Certified (MT-BC) required
