Recreation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Recreation Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Recreation Therapist, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing activities for assigned programs, working closely with the interdisciplinary treatment team to define and implement treatment goals.

• Plan and implement activities for assigned programs, including art, music, and recreation therapy
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary treatment team to define and implement treatment goals
• Provide continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Art, Music, or Recreation therapy or Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in occupational therapy
• One (1) year of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness, preferred
• Certification as CTRS is required or licensed OT
• Successful completion of CPR Certification and successful completion of CPI
