Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Madison-Kipp Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team at our Richmond, Indiana facility.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of production and facility equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of skilled tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and programs to ensure the optimal performance of equipment and facilities.
  • Coordinate the procurement of maintenance materials, capital equipment, and services to support the maintenance team.
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs, ensuring that expenses are minimized while maintaining the highest level of equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of maintenance materials and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., maintenance, management, engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as programmable logic controllers.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
