Responsibilities:


The Senior Physician Liaison is responsible for developing and enhancing the patient referral network to expand UVVC clinic operations by engaging with various physicians, medical offices, hospitals, and other stakeholders within the designated market.

Collaborates closely with the director of business development to contribute to the UVVC business strategy.

• Expands the referral network to grow the designated UVVC clinic operations.

• Continuously assesses, analyzes, and reports on various data regarding existing service performance and potential growth opportunities.

• Educates both new and existing physician contacts about the services provided by UVVC.

• Upholds the reputation of UVVC in the target community as leading experts in vein disease treatment.

• Oversees initiatives to ensure UVVC maintains a competitive edge to protect and expand market share, including regular analysis of competitors' strengths and services.

• Identifies physician referral opportunities within the medical community through research and outreach.


• Establishes and maintains ongoing communication with referring providers and their office staff, including regular follow-up visits, emails, and phone calls.

Delivers information and branded messages to physicians regarding UVVC products and services.

• Identifies and coordinates speaking engagements within hospitals, assisted living facilities, and medical associations.


• Develops strategies to promote provider engagement and collaboration, including new provider orientation, office visits, social events, referral dinners, continuing education units, etc.

Leverages networking opportunities to foster relationships with local community organizations and small businesses, enhancing advocacy for UVVC within the territory.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in healthcare sales and/or marketing.

• 5+ years of business development experience.

• Proven track record of success in healthcare referral marketing, pharmaceutical sales, medical device sales, or physician marketing.

• Established relationships within the following specialties: Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Podiatry, Wound Care, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Dermatology.

• Proficient in Salesforce.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and positively influence others.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare concepts.

• Excellent business acumen.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and organizational skills.

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to independently engage with internal physicians to discuss market strategies.

• Ability to independently meet with external physicians to educate them on UVVC service offerings.

• Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).

• Results-oriented.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Capable of adapting to new technologies to support business operations.

• Dependable; meets attendance and punctuality standards for the role.
