Job Title: Armed Security Officer

Cornerstone Security Group is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is a critical component of ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their assets.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to ensure the safety and security of premises and occupants.
  • Monitor security systems, including CCTV and alarms, and respond to any security breaches or incidents.
  • Escort employees, clients, and visitors to their destinations as requested.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of all incidents and activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Maintain proficiency in the use of firearms and other security equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the Security Industry.
  • Must possess a valid DPSST Armed/Unarmed license and have completed required firearms training.
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain a Concealed Handgun License within 90 days of employment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Prior military or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be willing to take and pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Must be willing to submit a background check, reference, and previous employment check.
