Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembler Package Unit Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls International plc. This is a challenging role that requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Testing: Assemble complex standard products, including tubing layout and application, bending or sawing pipe as needed, and mounting motors, compressors, and drive gears to packages.
  • Quality Control: Assist in performing soft foot on motors, align and measure offsets using manual indicators or laser, and perform air pressure testing on packages.
  • Material Handling: Perform necessary material handling associated with the job, excluding rigging of packages, and wash, clean, and prep packages for paint.
  • Documentation: Assist in locating vessels to package bases and use of all power and hand tools and other measuring devices to assure accurate fitting and alignment of parts to meet specifications on blueprints/drawings.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
