We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Tech Lead to join our team at Medical City Lewisville. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for preparing patients for scans, operating nuclear medicine equipment, and ensuring proper radiation safety techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for scans, including administering radioactive isotopes and positioning patients for optimal imaging
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment to produce high-quality images and measure concentration of radioactive isotopes
- Practice proper radiation safety techniques to ensure patient and staff safety
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff
- Support and contribute to the achievement of departmental and hospital goals
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
- State Registered Radiologic Technician licensure
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) certification within 60 months of employment start date
- Must be registered/eligible by NMTCB and/or ARRT (N)
- Must be Texas licensed MRT
