Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for performing respiratory care assessments, planning interventions, and evaluating outcomes of care. This role requires direct patient care, patient/family education, and provision and supervision of therapeutic treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform respiratory care assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Provide direct patient care and education to patients and families
  • Supervise and provide therapeutic treatments to patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Texas licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
  • Current BLS from an approved HCA vendor
  • Current ACLS, PALS, and NRP from an approved HCA vendor (ACLS, NRP, and PALS within 6 months of hire date. NRP only needed if working in NICU)
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Respiratory Therapy
