About the Role

Fibertek, Inc. is a leading developer of cutting-edge laser and electro-optical systems for the aerospace industry. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Program Manager to lead a team of experts in developing new laser transmitter subsystems, lidar systems, and space-based communications systems.



Key Responsibilities
  • Establish system key performance parameters and requirements flow-down to subsystems.
  • Lead engineering and manufacturing teams through the end-to-end development of active electro-optic systems.
  • Assign tasks to program team members and set/communicate program priorities and goals.
  • Keep senior management appraised of status/issues (technical, programmatic, workforce).


Requirements
  • BS engineering, MS engineering preferred.
  • 5 to 10 years of design, build, and test experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years program management experience with electro-optic or laser systems.
  • Systems engineering experience.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Excellent customer interfacing skills.
  • US citizenship required.
