We are seeking a highly skilled Curtain Wall and Metal Panel Designer to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design fully executed Curtain Wall and Storefront fabrication drawings with correct cut lengths, sizes, parts & pieces.
  • Design fully executed Metal Panel/ACM fabrication drawings, focusing on accuracy of dimension, extrusions, special notes, and field conditions.
  • Ability to understand and interpret field dimensions, revise shop drawings, and produce fabrication drawings.
  • Ability to design fully executed Curtain Wall & Metal Panel shop drawings, emphasizing accuracy, floor plans, elevations, wall sections, details, general notes, and impact of erection.
  • Ability to maintain deadlines for submittals and revisions to shop drawings.
  • Ability to work with Fabrication Shops, optimizing efficient quantities of material for best usage.
  • Ability to work with Field Superintendents and Labor Managers, ensuring necessary workloads.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience minimum in engineering, building construction, or architecture.
  • 3 years of experience minimum as a designer of Curtain Wall and Metal Panel systems.
  • Experience in producing shop drawings and fabrication drawings for Curtain Wall & Metal Panel systems is a plus.
  • AutoCAD 2018-2024 knowledge and 3D modeling capabilities are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications at a high level.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam is a plus.
