Key Responsibilities:
Typical Day in the Life

As a Senior Audit Associate, your daily activities may encompass the following:

1. Initiating client engagement discussions to establish timelines, objectives, and expectations for each project.

2. Executing audit, review, or compilation tasks for various clients.

3. Planning and conducting all phases of an engagement, including preparation of workpapers, financial statements, and reports.

4. Analyzing and preparing trial balances, intricate financial statements, and audit reports utilizing audit software, Word, and Excel.

5. Reconciling accounting data with control accounts.

6. Conducting fraud interviews as necessary with key personnel.

7. Reviewing team members' work, preparing high-risk audit sections, and drafting financial statements.

8. Providing financial analysis post-fieldwork to enhance client internal controls and accounting practices.

9. Collecting and requesting relevant information to identify and resolve client issues.

10. Coordinating various activities to fulfill client requirements within specified deadlines.

11. Training junior staff on audit processes and delegating tasks based on their availability and expertise.

12. Understanding and applying work procedures while effectively adapting plans as needed.

13. Performing fieldwork at client sites as required.

14. Networking, building relationships, and attracting new clients or business opportunities for the firm.

15. Participating in training seminars, professional development, and networking events.

Qualifications:
Who You Are

- You possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required).

- You have 2-4 years of audit experience (required).

- You hold a valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or are in the process of obtaining one (preferred).

- You demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of auditing standards and accounting principles.

- You can manage multiple projects and meet deadlines by prioritizing tasks effectively.

- You are proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and various software tools.

- You must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
