Position Profile

Weaver is in search of a Senior Audit Consultant to join our expanding Healthcare division. The Senior Audit Consultant will undertake in-charge responsibilities as assigned on larger and more intricate engagements. They will exhibit a comprehensive understanding of technical accounting literature within the GAAP and SEC frameworks and possess knowledge of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit methodologies for complex financial statement areas.

To excel in this position, the following qualifications are required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA or CPA candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting
  • Thorough knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
  • Strong project management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:
  • Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Ability to mentor and assist in the development of less experienced staff
  • Experience in healthcare audits for clinics, hospitals, or physician practices is preferred
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare audits is preferred
