About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Audit Associate to join our team at Eide Bailly. As a Senior Audit Associate, you will play a key role in leading audit engagements and providing expert guidance to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Audit Engagements: Initiate client engagement meetings, determine timelines, objectives, and expectations of an engagement.
  • Perform Audit Procedures: Conduct audit, review, or compilation procedures for clients, including workpaper preparation, financial statement preparation, and report preparation.
  • Plan and Execute Engagements: Plan and perform all phases of an engagement, including financial statement preparation and audit report preparation.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze trial balances, prepare financial statements, and audit reports using Microsoft Office and audit software programs.
  • Reconciliation and Review: Reconcile accounting information to control accounts and review staff work.
  • Fraud Investigation: Conduct fraud interviews on an as-needed basis with C-Suite/management, owners/governance, accountants, and other employees.
  • Staff Development: Train staff on the various aspects of an audit and delegate work based on availability and experience.
  • Client Relationship Building: Network, build relationships, and attract new clients or business to the Firm.
  • Professional Development: Attend training seminars, professional development, and networking events.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required).
  • Experience: 2-4 years of audit experience (required).
  • Licensure: Valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or working towards obtaining CPA license (required).
  • Skills: Well-rounded knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles, proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and various software packages.
  • Work Style: Ability to work on multiple projects, meet deadlines, and set priorities with work projects.
