FUNCTION
The Promotions and Events Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing brand visibility and customer engagement through various promotional activities, special events, advertising, and digital outreach.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Organize and oversee special events, contests, and giveaways.
2. Assist in the planning and execution of promotional campaigns and customer engagement events.
3. Collaborate with departments such as Food & Beverage, IT, Security, and Players Club to fulfill marketing event requirements.
4. Generate requests for materials, manage check requests, and ensure timely payment of all invoices.
5. Communicate all event details effectively to the Marketing Director.
6. Support the creation of promotional materials including brochures, newsletters, posters, and website content.
7. Schedule and manage marketing signage, including digital content.
8. Assist the Marketing Director in developing engaging social media content.
9. Create relevant and captivating content for social media platforms.
10. Monitor social media channels and encourage interaction to foster relationships with guests.
11. Manage communications across social media platforms.
12. Build and maintain relationships with guests.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• High level of professionalism and ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Outstanding guest service skills.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with various internal departments.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
• A college degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience in organizing and coordinating special events and/or promotions is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in the gaming industry is preferred.
• Proficiency with audio/video equipment is preferred.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and Player Tracking systems is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a valid gaming license.
