We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Nurse to join our team at Rosecrance Inc. in Rockford, IL.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to individuals experiencing substance use disorder and mental health issues. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering evidence-based therapies and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess and address the physical and medical needs of Co-Responder clients.
  2. Coordinate medical appointments and provide transportation and support as needed.
  3. Administer medications and provide education on medication management.
  4. Maintain effective communication with the team leader and coordinator on medication assistance requests and budgets.
  5. Build relationships with medical providers and advocate for clients to receive appropriate care.
  6. Provide education on medical problems, prevention issues, and wellness to clients.
  7. Other responsibilities as assigned.
