About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Behavioral Psychologist to join our team at Braver, a pioneering organization dedicated to revolutionizing mental healthcare for anxious kids. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of anxiety treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate new patients and develop comprehensive treatment plans that cater to their unique needs.
  • Supervise a team of Mobile Exposure Coaches, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest quality care for our patients.
  • Facilitate and observe group patient therapy sessions, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Lead and engage in family therapy sessions, working closely with parents and caregivers to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
  • Review and evaluate Braver Challenges and other content in the Braver mobile app, ensuring its accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with our leadership team and colleagues to continually enhance and evolve our methodologies and technologies, driving innovation and excellence in our field.
Requirements
  • PhD or PsyD degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed as a psychologist in Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island (or licensed in another state and willing to become licensed in MA and/or RI).
  • Experience treating children and adolescents with anxiety disorders using exposure therapy (preferred, not required).
  • Commitment to evidence-based psychotherapy.
  • Comfort with learning and using new technologies.
  • Desire to work in a collaborative, non-hierarchical team environment.
