Hospital Admission Coordinator Job Summary

Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated seeks a highly skilled Patient Access Supervisor to lead our registration and hospital admissions team. This key role involves overseeing the entire patient registration process, from initial contact to discharge, and ensuring seamless operations and exceptional patient experiences.

As a Patient Access Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, staffing, and controlling a wide range of operations and activities. This includes insurance verification, pre-registration, service scheduling, and point-of-service collections.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the patient registration team to deliver high-quality patient experiences
  • Develop and administer new programs and services to enhance patient satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational objectives and improve patient outcomes
  • Provide daily directions and leadership to assigned staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Healthcare Management
  • Three years of hospital registration, insurance claims filing, or patient billing experience
  • Prior supervisory experience required
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
