Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Coordinator to join our team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring seamless communication within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Answering Calls: Respond promptly to incoming calls, providing assistance and transferring calls to the relevant parties as needed.
• Emergency Procedures: Announce and re-announce emergency procedures and calls, ensuring timely action is taken.
• Outgoing Calls: Provide support with outgoing calls, utilizing excellent communication skills to ensure accurate information is conveyed.

Schedule and Requirements

The Telecommunications Coordinator will work a variable schedule, including weekends and some evenings. Key requirements include:

Education and Experience: High school graduate or equivalent required; experience in switchboard operations preferred.

Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, ability to lift up to 60 pounds with assistance or assistive devices, pass a basic fitness test, and good visual acuity for electronic systems and hearing for telephone use.

Work Environment: The Telecommunications Coordinator will be working in a fast-paced hospital environment, requiring attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
