Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing packaging bill of material updates, document control, and related processes. This role requires independent action with limited supervision and provides opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the packaging request process for new product introductions
  • Update and maintain packaging bill of material structure and system requirements per packaging standards for new product introductions
  • Create and issue Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and work with product management, product engineering, production, and corporate packaging
  • Manage artwork approval requests
  • Verify packaging component costs and update life cycles
  • Document and log BOM changes and updates
  • Manage packaging product transfers
  • Provide support to ensure the accuracy of labeling information and barcodes
  • Manage related document control requirements and processes
Additional Responsibilities
  • Oversee printing equipment and correct label formats for all levels of packaging
  • Verify new label setups
  • Provide support for packaging production printing equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of packaging experience required
  • Oracle system familiarity
  • Experience with PC and Mac hardware/software
