As a Cardiovascular Sonographer at Amtex Systems Inc., you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic cardiovascular examinations and generating preliminary reports for physician interpretation. You will work collaboratively with other professional disciplines to ensure safe and effective patient care, while maintaining professional standards and interacting effectively with patients and their significant others.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform diagnostic cardiovascular examinations per physician orders and according to department protocols
* Generate preliminary reports for physician interpretation
* Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure safe and effective patient care
* Interact with Cardiologists and referring physicians according to applicable departmental policies regarding critical findings
* Interact with team leaders and managers to discuss significant findings, clinical situations, workflow status, and equipment malfunctions

Requirements:

* High School Diploma
* 1 year on-the-job training or graduate of accredited ultrasound school
* RDCS or RCS in adult echo or RVT or RVS in vascular ultrasound (completed within 1 year of hire date)
* CPR

Preferred Skills:

* Perform all cardiac or vascular ultrasound procedures available in Non-Invasive Cardiology
* Master use of all equipment, including ultrasound systems, PVR, BP monitors, and computer systems
* Attend required training programs and staff meetings and complete computer-based learning lessons
