Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Healthcare Support Permanent Placement. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic cardiovascular examinations and generating preliminary reports, charts, and charges procedures electronically for physician interpretation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic cardiovascular examinations per physician orders and department protocols.
  • Generate preliminary reports, charts, and charges procedures electronically for physician interpretation.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Maintain professional standards while interacting with patients, significant others, Cardiologists, and referring physicians.
  • Communicate with team leaders and managers about significant findings, clinical situations, workflow status, and equipment malfunctions.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience required as a Sonographer.
  • RDCS or RCS in adult echo or RVT or RVS in vascular ultrasound (completed within 1 year of hire date).
  • Must be registered in either Adult Cardiac or Vascular Sonography by ARDMS or CCI.
  • Must acquire CMEs as required by professional registries and by national lab accreditation.
