Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team at Dario Buden. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic cardiovascular examinations, generating preliminary reports, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic cardiovascular examinations per physician orders and department protocols.
  • Generate preliminary reports for physician interpretation.
  • Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure safe and effective patient care.
  • Interact with patients and significant others while maintaining professional standards.
  • Interact with cardiologists and referring physicians according to applicable departmental policies regarding critical findings.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.
  • 1 year on-the-job training or graduate of an accredited ultrasound school.
  • RDCS or RCS in adult echo or RVT or RVS in vascular ultrasound (completed within 1 year of hire date).
  • CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master use of all equipment, including ultrasound systems, PVR, BP monitors, and computer systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
