Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for Mac systems, resolving issues and providing assistance to users
- Perform in-house repairs on Mac equipment, minimizing downtime and avoiding external repairs
- Support the setup and maintenance of IT systems across multiple campuses
- Manage spare parts and equipment distribution, ensuring all campuses are well-equipped
- Conduct user training and support, educating staff and students on best practices and new hardware/software usage
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Mac troubleshooting, with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues
- ACMT (Apple Certified Mac Technician) certification is preferred, demonstrating expertise in Mac repairs and support
- Background in Genius Bar or similar technical support roles, with experience in hands-on technical support environments
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to efficiently address and solve technical problems
- Networking skills are a plus, with familiarity with networking beneficial but not required
- Windows administration knowledge is helpful, as skills are transferable
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, staff, and students
- Adaptability, with flexibility to work across multiple campuses and manage a variety of IT challenges
Work Schedule:
- 5-day on-site work week, Monday to Friday, providing consistent support to the school
- 12-month position, with Fridays off in the summer and a 2-week break in March
- School holidays off, enjoying time off during school holidays
