Supervisor, Imaging Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Supervisor to join our team at Marshall Medical Center. The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Medical Director, Department Director, and Operations Supervisor, the Radiology Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the daily workflow of radiology services, including radiology, fluoroscopy, portable radiology procedures, and patient transportation. The successful candidate will ensure the appropriate prioritization of in-patient and outpatient exams and procedures, and will assist in the formulation of procedure protocols in collaboration with the Medical Director.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to possess a graduate degree from a Radiology Technology program and be currently licensed as a California Radiological Technologist (CRT). The ideal candidate will also have a strong background in radiologic technology, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field. Additionally, the candidate will need to have at least 1 year of experience in supervision, teaching, protocol formulation, or formal management training.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will also possess advanced certification in CT or Mammography, and will have a strong understanding of radiology exams and procedures. The candidate will also need to have excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire a high quality of work in those they supervise.
