Geriatric Mental Health:
Assess and address the mental health needs of geriatric patients, including depression, anxiety, cognitive impairments, and behavioral disturbances. Collaborate with psychiatric professionals as needed and employ therapeutic interventions to enhance mental well-being.
Continual Learning:

Qualifications and Requirements:
Valid nursing license and registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the relevant jurisdiction. Specialization or certification in geriatric nursing is preferred. Strong knowledge of geriatric health issues, common conditions, and evidence-based nursing interventions. Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans for geriatric patients. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, lifting, and bending. Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
